MITT ROMNEY ENDORSES OTTERFriday, May 28, 2010 (Boise, Idaho) Mitt Romney’s Free and Strong American PAC announced the endorsement of Governor Butch Otter in his re-election bid and is sending him a $5000 contribution.“Rather than focusing on getting our economy back on track, far too many of our leaders are more interested in promoting policies that will expand the size of government and drive us further into debt. We need leaders who will stand up to the culture of higher spending, higher taxes, and higher debt, and that is why I am produud to endorse Governor Otter...” said Romney. He also endorsed the GOP nominees from the Idaho Congressional Delegation. Otter said he was proud to have the endorsement of a former GOP Governor and someone who understands western issues. “Mitt loves Idaho and we heartily accept his endorsement. And he lives by the same ‘Code of the West’ that I’ve always embraced,” said Otter. The endorsement is is part of the PAC’s 2010 program aimed at electing conservative candidates who will work to lower taxes and spending, restore commonsense principles to healthcare and get out economy moving again.
